My top 5 tips for happier & healthier skin

Good Evening, I know a few of you have been following me for a while now and you love the skincare journey that I've been on. So I wanted to share with you my top tips to getting healthier and happier skin you feel comfortable in.

Healthy skin isn't just about applying moisturiser or using soap, it's a combination of a few simple factors, which I'm going to help you with. And I'm hoping this can be a journey we enjoy together. There's many different skin types, skin concerns and skin care combinations that we can try in order to give you the glow you deserve, but let's start with the basics..

  1. Always wear sunscreen when you plan to be outside for an extended period of time. This will protect your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays. Sunscreen is something that as adults we forget about, if you're like me we apply loads to our children but then forget about our own skin - why this is though, I'm unsure. Adding Sunscreen to your face can prevent those harmful UV rays which cause our skin to age quicker.

  2. Make sure to stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water helps keep your skin looking and feeling healthy. I find that carrying a large bottle of water around helps me to keep a constant reminder to drink. Also those tiktok bottles are fab for making sure you stick drinking it all day too. I've liked some fab bottles on my amazon storefront for you to try.

  3. Eat a balanced diet that is full of fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats. These foods will help keep your skin glowing. Nothing worse than spending loads of money on skincare treatments if your going to fill your mouth full of garbage. A nice healthy diet will keep your skin happy & healthy.

  4. Exfoliate your skin regularly to remove dead skin cells and improve circulation. I suggest using a gentle exfoliation and using it 3 times a week, this will help remove the dryness from your skin, make it feel incredibly smooth and there for keep you confident within your skin.

  5. Last but not least, try to find natural and gentle skin care products that work for your skin type and concerns to use on your skin. These products will be less likely to irritate your skin, and if they match your current skin type the products will work better giving you the glow you want and desire.

If you are unsure on what your skin type is, or what products you should be using for your skin type then drop me a message as we've just launched something very exciting which can help you.
